Return Policy

RJ Vehicle Parts is an online marketplace specializing in selling automotive spare parts. We understand the importance of having a flexible yet well-defined return policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This Return Policy outlines the terms, conditions, process, and timelines associated with returns when purchasing products from RJVP.

By placing an order on RJVP, you agree to be bound by the provisions of this Return Policy. We request you to review this document in its entirety prior to making any purchases to avoid future disputes.

Return Eligibility

Most products purchased from RJVP may be returned within 10 calendar days from the date you received the shipment, except for products explicitly marked as non-returnable.  

To be eligible for a return, products must fulfill the following criteria:

  • In original condition along with all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, etc. as shipped originally
  • Original packaging must be intact with MRP tag/sticker label and not tampered
  • No signs of use, damage, grease, scratches or dents
  • Not physically damaged while in the customer’s possession 
  • Exactly matches the product delivered, not different or inferior in any manner

Any damage or use of the product may make it ineligible for return. We recommend thoroughly checking shipments before accepting delivery.

For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, returns must be initiated within 1 calendar day of receiving the order, along with photos clearly showing damage and packaging.

How To Initiate a Return?

To initiate a return, please visit the “My Orders” section in your RJ Vehicle Parts account and select the item you wish to return. Follow on-screen prompts to print a return shipping label (if applicable) and start the return process. 

Ensure you securely pack the item in its original manufacturer packaging to prevent in-transit damage. We also strongly recommend taking date-stamped photos and videos showing the repackaging process.  RJ Vehicle Parts cannot be held responsible for any damage due to insufficient packaging during return shipping.

Please retain proof of return shipping/postage receipt until a refund has been issued. This helps resolve any disputes regarding whether & when the item was returned.

Return Shipping Window

In general, items must be shipped back to RJVP within 10 calendar days of receiving your order. For damaged/defective goods, the window is 1 calendar day. Returns initiated after this shall not be eligible for refunds.

Non-Returnable Items  

The following products are marked as non-returnable on  RJ Vehicle Parts platform:

  • Electronic parts containing circuit boards (e.g instrument panels)
  • Wiring harnesses 
  • Car body covers
  • Consumables (bug remover, air fresheners, etc.)   
  • Items specified as non-returnable on the product detail page

For defective non-returnable products, please contact RJVP Customer Service within 10 days of delivery for assistance. We will assess the damage and attempt to find a quick resolution.

Return Shipping Costs

For eligible returns meeting the mentioned criteria and initiated within the timeline,  RJ Vehicle Parts offers free return pickup/shipping via our no-cost return label.

If  RJ Vehicle Parts cannot arrange return pickup and requests self-shipment, incurred charges will be reimbursed on submitting a registered courier receipt. Please use only India Post registered shipping services if asked to self-ship. 

Refund Timeline

Once the returned item is received and inspected at our facility (within 5-7 working days on average), the refund will be issued to your original payment method used at the time of purchase via the steps below:

  • Return request initiated through the “My Orders” section 
  • 2) Shipment received and the item inspected thoroughly 
  • 3) Quality inspection completed and refund approval/rejection concluded
  • 4) If approved, a refund will be issued within 5-7 working days

It may take an additional 5-7 banking days after refund initiation for the amount to reflect in your bank account. Please contact the issuing bank if the refund is not reflected during this period.

The refund will always be released only to the original payment method used to purchase the item. No refunds can be processed to any third-party accounts under any circumstances. 

Rejection Of Returns 

RJVP reserves the right to reject any returns that do not fulfill the requirements mentioned in this Return Policy. In such cases, we will ship the item back to the registered address on file at your expense upon request. If no request is received within 1 Week of rejection, the item will be discarded or liquidated at RJVP’s sole discretion. Return shipping costs for rejected claims will not be paid by the company.
